David Kreutz, owner of Satsuki Bonsai-en, has been a continuing student of Bonsai
since 1990. He graduated from the three year Satsuki care and culture classes at
Eldorado Bonsai taught by Tatemori Gondo of Osaka. He was certified as a first level
instructor by Gondo-san.
David has presented lectures and demonstrations and taught workshops at several conventions
and clubs since being certified as an Instructor. His classes emphasize the yearly
care and trimming technique learned from Gondo-san and Joe Harris over the years.
He Imports Satsuki Azaleas from Japan and has recently had a quarantine house approved
by the USDA for direct importing of bonsai material from other countries.
