Workshop #8 -
Workshop details:
The literati style invokes quite a bit of twisting and bending of the trunk and branches, especially the apex. This workshop provides a great opportunity to explore and experiment on just how far can you bend and twist the trunk and branches. However; do not worry about going to far, if you break the tree we have a replacement tree for you….at no additional cost. You read that correctly, we will replace the first tree you break in the workshop! You can even keep the broken tree.
These Japanese Black Pines were planted and grown by the Indianapolis Bonsai Club specifically for this workshop and are 3 years old. They are of various heights as some have been pruned by resident deer. The trees are now in ½ gallon nursery pots. Wire, raffia and cut paste are also provided.
This workshop will run from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2008.
Workshop is limited to 10 participants.
Cost for this workshop is $90.00.
